| Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit | Software Restriction Policy Problem on Vista Greetings to members of the Vista Forums Let me go straight to the point I've been using Vista for about a month. It's great, period. UAC is also great. However, it causes me some problems when running programs and games. So I decided to add some additional rules to the Software Restriction section of the Local Security Policies. I made path rules allowing to run KMPlayer, Lineage II and avast!'s main application with unrestricted credentials, because i trust those apps and use them every day. It worked only with KMPlayer. It starts without any prompts (it used to ask me for consent every time)/ However, Lineage II and avast! still display a prompt before running. Please help! |
