Hiding Classic Start Menu Items

When using the Classic Start Menu, how can you hide both the Programs group, and Settings Group?

I can hide almost anything else on the classic menu, but I don't know what registry entries would hide these last two.

Thanks,

Rand

Right click on the start menu then goto customize then click on remove and remove what you don't want showing.

Hello, Mansrm81.

I appreciate your post.

Sadly, you cannot remove Programs or Settings Groups from the Start Menu preferences. It must be done from the registry as local policy, but I don't know what keys or values to add.

If anyone knows how, please post a way.

Thanks,

Rand
