| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Invalid password Vista has taken upon itself to invalidate my admin password on startup or when changing users. Fortunately my wifes account is also admin so i can login with hers and remove my password to gain access to my account. I have even created a new admin account for myself which worked OK for a day or two before it succumbed to the same problem. My wifes account is so far unaffected. Is there an easy fix or should I be very worried? This all seems to have started since I lost the internet (changing provider). Thanks in advance Clover............. |

While logged into your account, see if using Method Three (step 4) in the tutorial below to stop password expiration can help stop this for you. Password Expiration in Vista Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Invalid password Thanks for info, i'll try when I get home. But.................as i stated in previous post, I created a whole new user account (different password) and that did the same within 2 days. I'll give method 3 a go tho and let you know how i get on. Clover.............. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Invalid password Well, by default if password expiration was enabled, you would normally have 42 days before it expired. It is posssible that it could have been changed to to just 2 days instead. I hope that is all it turns out to be. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Invalid password Clover, I'm happy to hear that is seems to be sorted now. Method Three should affect all user accounts. No need to do anything for the others. |
