What version do you have, is it the free or Plus one.?

I don't remember anything to do with a password when I installed it on my machine, and even when I used it on XP I didn't have to do anything about a password when using it with IE or Maxthon.

Re: McAfee Site Advisor

if you have forgotten the password, when you try to enter a site which is protected by Mcafee then it would also give you a password hint. If that also doesnot help then disable it using msconfig.
