I'm writing this with the hopes that someone can help me with a problem I am having. I recently purchased Webroot Spy Sweeper with Antivirus to use on my system and after installing the program and restarting as the installer told me to do, I received an error telling me that Webroot was not compatible with my version of windows, yet on the disc it says it is compatible. Is there any way to remedy this problem I am having?

Do you have another antivirus programmed installed already? If so, you mave be having a conflict issue. If not try installing it in Safe Mode.

Webroot uses Sophos Antivirus which failed Virus Bulletin VB100 testing for Vista SP1(April 2008) with 2 wildlist misses, and performed so poorly in AV-Comparatives testing (November 2008) that it failed to acheive even standard certification (No Certification-117 false positives)
