Vista - Virus While Logged Into Administrator Account

If I am logged into my administrator account and I visit a site that infects my computer with a virus, trojan, etc., would the infection be limited to the one account or would the infection spread through the entire OS.

It depends on what you class as your administrator account,

If you are logged on as a standard UAC controlled administrator account with UAC on the virus will only be able to access files and processes accessable to a standard user, the UAC will prompt you if a virus attempts to access anything with elivated privledges.

If however you are running as the Hidden administrator which circumvents UAC then the virus will have access to anything that the administrator does, basically the whole machine
