Password Safe revisited

Hello:

It's my experience that Password Safe doesn't work if you perform a system restore on Vista. (Tried it...lost everything). Has anyone had success using it on a thumbdrive and being able to use it following a system restore? OR do you always maintain the content in say for example, text files in case you need to re-import? Also given the state of thumbdrives, I'm assuming you maintain a secondary backup of PS?

Re: Password Safe revisited

Actually, I've got another question. When installing PS on Vistax64, my antivirus is notifying me that the file is trying to access verclsid.exe. My system is supposedly up to date (OS); is this access to the file ok? Should it be blocked / terminated? SHould I change the file (...old, for example)? It's my understanding thaht verclsid.exe is supposed to have been fixed by a security update of ~2 years ago. (Yep, I'm running an HP w/ NVIDIA, but am up to date on all updates, supposedly.)

Thanks.
