| Vista Ultimate 32-bit | Bitlocker Issue! Hey people, I'm kind of desperate here. So, I was encrypting my external hard drive with BitLocker on Vista Ultimate, and I put on my password and such, and the power in the house went out when it was about 12% done. My internal hard drive somehow died, so I got a new one and installed Vista Ultimate. Now, however, when I try and access the external hard drive, I get an error message stating: "Error Recovering Disk E: There is no recovery password information on this volume. The Volume cannot be unlocked." Any Ideas? And if you do have ideas, please tell me how to use them. How do you use the Bitlocker repair tool, for example? It's a windows update thing! Please help, as this is VERY urgent. All of my programs, files, and work is on that hard drive! Last edited by Kyogre1940; 02-08-2009 at 11:04 AM.. Reason: To clarify things. |
