That cannot be discussed in this forum since it is used in illegal practices.

Jerin,

You might give this a read and some of the links there as well. It will help give you a basic idea about them.

Pretty cool Shawn, although they left Spybot SD out of the list.

The Bengali Lancers are disappointed about that too Airbot.

This list Shawn, is a real 'doozie', if and when you have about 4 hours to spare. It ain't just a scrub, it's a steamclean, sandblast and epsom-salts purge, all rolled into one. Man! Your pipes would be clean after this lot.

Any chance of including it as a complete 'package' in your Vista Forums>Software>Free Software List for Vista? Or do copyright issues come to a head?

Re: Ultimate Malware Removal Guide

Hi Aaron and Tony,

Yeah, it's a shame that they left out Spybot S&D.

Most of the programs are already listed in the Free Software List, but the others just seem not to be real helpful considering other programs can do it easier or to hard for the average person to use.

After reading your suggestion may i say it doesn't work. Sounds like something half hearted.

I understand your frustration Trax1963, and it certainly looks like you have a bitter pill to swallow.

However, in keeping with KISS methodology, I have three questions;

Q1.....Do you have automatic MS Windows Updates, and do you install them....the critical and important?

Q2.....Have you run the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool? Jan 09 Version here; Download details: Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool

Q3.....I am aware that a Java script nasty can embed itself right in the Drive and location that you mention..... D:\Recycle Bin, and that the Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner has successfully located it and given details at the scan finish on how to quarantine and remove it. Have you tried the Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner, beta Version for Vista....Full Scan? Here; Windows Live OneCare safety scanner: Free online tool for PC health and safety NOTE: You'll need to download this and run it in MS Windows Internet Explorer to succeed.

Both are free to use, worth a try, and often overlooked as useful tools.

By the way, the latest Version of the Malicious Software Removal Tool, is due for release with other MS Windows Updates, on Tuesday this week.

Hope this helps.
