Vista - Help Please special permissions??!?!?

ok well im trying to give the program called peer guardian full control but it wont let me and it just says Error applying security and i had UAC on and i turned it off and i still have the same problem and it wont let me have special permissions on my own acc and i am administrator and im running 32 windows vista Man this gets frustrating! Please help!

Did you reboot after turning UAC off? Personally I'd turn it back on.

Can you create the error and post a snip of it so we can see what going on?

Try this to take ownership of the file, then give it another go. Context Menu - Take Ownership

Ya its not working it wont let me open the file now the trusted installer has all rights and its not letting me have special permissions and every time i try to dey the trusted user or anything at all i get this
