Re: What version of Eset Smart Security is installed?

By saying Eset Smart Security does that mean that you have the full suite installed that contains the firewall as well as anti-virus software ?

Can you tell us what version it is, I only have the anti-virus program and only run a 32 bit system so this is what my About tells me.

Re: What version of Eset Smart Security is installed?

By saying Eset Smart Security I mean:
-Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware
-Personal Firewall and Anti-Spam module

Eset Smart Security, Version 3.0.684.0
****
By default in every 64-bit OS we have 2 Program Files folders...
1. Program Files
2. Program Files (x86)
-----------------------------
My software is installed in folder number 1.

Re: What version of Eset Smart Security is installed?

Hi bogdanf

the general rule for Vista aware 64 bit applications is ...

x64 programs are placed in the Program files folder
x86 programs are placed in the Program Files (x86) folder

so, unless the installer forces the folder used you should have x64 version - but the Help About of the program should be checked for definitive proof
