Vista - Help l have spyware and l can not remove it.

Hi,
I have this spyware on my laptop and l can not remove it at all l have even tried deleting the file from the registry but it still comes back.

Type of spyware:Rat, RetrospyDescription:CDN displays targeted popup advertisements. CDN infects a system typically as part of a downloader and is installed without the end users consent.Threat:GUARDED Spyware Pieces:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\internet explorer\activex compatibility\{9a578c98-3c2f-4630-890b-fc04196ef420}


If anyone can help me it would be great as my laptop is not even 3 months old as l brought it to replace my desktop that has a backdoor.sd.bot on it and i cant get reed of that either so it's driving me crazy.
