Vista - Zone Alarm Free Firewall Taskbar Issue

i had installed the free firewall and it started to slow my system down too much so i tried to uninstalled. after a few unsuccessful attempts i finally got it to uninstall via the programs uninstaller. but, wen my system restarts the taskbar used to b double the size of a regular taskbar and continued to do so even after i had uninstalled the program. the taskbar only stays that size for a few seconds then returns to its normal size. but i fear that the program is still in my computer sumwhere. i notice that my system is running a bit slower than usual. as i stated earlier i had trouble uninstalling the program so i just installed it again over itself and it uninstalled. but like i sed i fear that it still may b in here sumwhere. any tips?

Use System restore
start>in search, type restore> click program, click "continue" wait for utility to load.

Restore to a point before you install Zone alarm

i did the system restore and the taskbar thing happened again. i recently got it to uninstall tho and the taskbar resize hasnt happened in a while. thnx for your reply tho. i will report back here if it happens again.
