Quick question?

I bought my PC last year and I was running Trend Micro Antivirus and webroot spyware. Both Subscriptions are up and I just renewed the Trend and the new software from trend has both virus and spyware. Do I need the webroot anymore?

So is there really a reason to have both the programs since the trend does both?

I think its a good idea to have more than one layer of protection. However it will probebly slow your machine down quite a bit. If you have a fast system then why not? Even if you disable the on access scanner and just use one to run a scan everyday instead of realtime protection that would be good too.

Well I removed it last night and it seems to be faster even on the boot up and shut down. Is there a good freeware that is compatible with mine?
