MalwareBytes anti malware or spybot?

What would you recommend based on your experience?

Hi Dinesh, based on my own experience I use both Spybot, i dont use the resident tea timer but i do use the browser immunisation (Which has blocked me a few times from connecting to blacklistrd links) i also scan my system with it once a week on Wed. when updates are released and re immunise. Also i use malwarebytes as a stand alone scanner as it specialises in polymorphic malware. I recently picked up a badly infected, unpatched computer. After about a week of scanning, cleaning and trying to repair corrupt, missing and broken files i was convinced it was clean but i had read a lot about malwarebytes so i thought i would give it a try. Alas it found another 2 trojans everything else had missed! I then installed it on my Laptop (I am very vigilant about security on my laptop) ran a scan and it found well established malware in my registry that had not been detected by my other security software. Well thats my experience i use both and for very different reasons

I use them both. Been very happy with Spybot for years, and recently added Malwarebytes when the newest version added x64 support.

Hi Kikidee,

You can just go to the site here: The home of Spybot-S&D!

And click on your language, say English, then click here:

Then here:

Then finally, pick any one you like of the Mirror sites here:

They're all fine to use, but go ahead and use one of these, they would be my pick. That's as direct as you'll get probably.
