Avast Home Edition 4.8.1335 no longer auto-updates

Vista Home Premium x86 SP2

It hasn't automatically updated its JVS signatures since I installed the new service pack on May 27. I can still manually update, but miss the convenience of auto. I checked my Windows Firewall settings and created an exception for Avast. I have performed a repair installation of Avast and have even renewed my license key early.

Is there some kind of incompatibility between Vista SP2 and Avast that I don't know about?

Thank you.

Hello OmegaWolf,

In addition, double check the update settings by right clicking on the Avast tray icon, clicking on Program settings, and have both Update (Basic) items selected as Automatic.

Hope this helps,
