logon process has failed to create the security options dialog

logon process has failed to create the security options dialog
I was running a malwarebytes scan in the backround and all of the sudden ie locked up. I tried to open task manager and got a black screen. Then I got an error that said- logon process has failed to create the security options dialog. Then I got out of the black and there malware bytes was running fine again. what does all this mean- does t mean malware bytes was scanning the file for so long and was trying to verify it but malwarebytes couldent get the security dialog fo rit so it moved on? Please help

or maybe worse maybe something was trying to do some unauthorized thing to my ???????

Try this;

  1. When booting keep pressing F8 until you get the "Advanced boot menu".
  2. Press the down arrow until you get to "Last known good configuration"
  3. Press enter
I think that's how to fix it ... I remember having to fix it before but I'm not sure if this is the correct solution.

Try it and reply to let me know if it works.
