Backdoor win 32/sdbot.gen!a

hi, i have windows vista premium 32 bit pc, I run avast security and everything comes up clean,same with malwarebytes-anti-malware,also the same with windows defender,then i run microsofts malicius tool remover and it comes up with backdoor win 32/sdbot.gen!a removed.But every time i restart my pc and run the malicius tool remover again, i get the same message can anybody advise,patch41

That could just be a false trace.
I'm sure MBAM would have picked this up.

Have you tried running a HiJack log?

I would run a free PrevX CSI scan on your system32 directory, wait 10 minutes, then scan it again. This allows any unknown dll's to be uploaded to PrevX and analyzed.

thanks starflame for your advise,sorry i didn't get back to you sooner i was having trouble with mcafee security it would not work with internet-8 and i had to remove internet-8 and go back to internet-7 and everything is fine,i am a newbie with the pc could you explain what a hijack log is, and also step by step how i would run a prevx csi scan on system32 directory i would appreciate any advise you could give...patch41

Patch41...try this link http://hijackthis.com and it should answer your question of what a hijackthis log is. Also lots of helpful people there and good information...like this site

This is slightly off topic, however it is not advisable to have two anti virus programs downloaded & running on the same computer.
