Vista - Windows Security Window keeps popping up!

For some reason this window has started popping up!

' Please verify that both the username and password are correct for your mail server.'

To get rid of the Window I have to enter my details and password to gain access to Windows Mail.

Any tips please on resolving this problem. I am using Vista 32 bit. ISP Tiscali. AVG email scanning incoming.

Hi alan8376
Is this problem associated with your outgoing mail too?
Try turning off your AVG email scanner & see if that makes a difference.

Hi,

After many days the fault has now gone away on its own! Sorry, I am not sure whether it was Send or Receive, as I just pressed the one icon.

I did try switching the AVG off, but it did not stop the problem.
