EZStickyNotes folder in MyDocuments folder getting kinda old!

Does anyone know how i can get this darn EZStickyNotes folder to stop returning to MyDocuments folder every month after i delete it!Also,i found last month an EZListings.BSA that may or may not be related in c:/administrator/appdata/local/temp.This is getting old and i want to know how to get rid of these items permanently.

I understand from barman58 in a seperate thread from awhile back,

EZStickyNotes folder appears out of nowhere in Documents folder!

, that the ezstickynotes folder has something to do with a shareware program he gave a link to.How it got there is a mystery to me since i didn't install it,but some program installed it,apparently, and didn't leave any way for me to uninstall it if i didn't want it.I searched my computer for the easy sticky note program, but it isn't on my computer.

I always do a scan of my computer with avast, malwarebytes, superantispyware, and windows defender after finding the ezstickynotes folder for viruses, etc and it always comes up clean.Hopefully, someone can help me with this minor irritation since it's getting pretty old doing the monthly deletions of the ezstickynotes folder and the newly discovered ezlistings.bsa file.

DSmith148:

Ordinarily this installs in the C:/Programs folder as Easy Sticky Notes.
Parent company is 8848 Software. So add that to your search.

Make sure your folder view options are set to Show hidden folders.
This might only be a program with a similar name, not sure.

I checked c:/programs and c:/programs(x86).No easy sticky notes folder in either directory.Nothing in either directory about 8848 software either.Folders are set to view hidden files as well.

I don't see a virtualstores folder.Where is this folder?

Re: EZStickyNotes folder in MyDocuments folder getting kinda old!

I checked for a virtualstore folder in these locations:

c:/users/administrator/appdata/local
c:/users/administrator/appdata/locallow
c:/users/administrator/appdata/roaming
c:/users/default/appdata/local
c:/users/default/appdata/roaming
c:/users/mcx1/appdata/local <--found here-it's empty
c:/users/mcx1/appdata/locallow
c:/users/mcx1/appdata/roaming

Only found a virtualstore folder in the folder indicated above. It was empty.

If it's empty that's good, generally. Doesn't help find EZ.
They sure named it right with Sticky in the name. I believe my post implicating
Easy Sticky Notes was errant.
