trojan virus removal help?

ESET Smart Security says that it has put a PDF/Exploit. Gen Trojan into quarantine. I read somewhere that if it is put in quarantine that it will not necessarily infect your computer. Is this true? And how would I get rid of trojan? I know nothing about this, basically.

Re: trojan virus removal help?

Hello stephenie,
Leave PDF/Exploit. Gen Trojan in quarantine where it should present no harm to your computer.[ I suggest that you don't delete it at this stage.]
I further suggest that you join this forum [ link below ] which is the "Official ESET Support Forum" at Wilders Security Forums.
Address your question to the relevant section [ ESET Smart Security Forum ]
& I'm sure that you should receive good advice.
Please post back here later & let us know how you went.
Good luck.

It doesn't need to be quarantined. Delete it asap.
