| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Cannot Print MS Office Programs with UAC Turned On Vista 32 bit system with Dell 948 AIO Printer Prints test page, prints from Internet Explorer. Cannot print anything from a MS Office program (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc). Can print from all programs when disabling User Account Control (UAC). UAC Enabled did not keep me from getting that nasty malware called Personal Antivirus, so what's the use of having UAC enabled? |

The hand that clicks the mouse is one of the best security measures. ![]() What Anti Virus, Anti Malware & Firewall have you installed currently? How did you remove Personal Anti Virus? Did your computer come with an Anti Virus preinstalled? |

| Vista 32 win 7 7600 32 bit | Re: Cannot Print MS Office Programs with UAC Turned On Well patience has got to be one of my virtues after 4500 posts I had better be patient or I would be insane I basically agree that for the average user UAC should be turned on. I have 5 levels of security and I feel I know enough to leave it off. ken |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Cannot Print MS Office Programs with UAC Turned On Using McAfee anti-virus and Ad-Aware malware. Removed "Personal Anti-virus" from Windows/Programs and also by using Regedit Restored PC back to Factory Default Settings (this took me back almost 2 years from when I purchased this PC) What about turning off UAC and adding Spybot and Malwarebytes? |

I would recommend Spyware Blaster & SuperAntiSpyware. Both have free versions & good support, & run happily with Vista etc. Have a look at them. [Use Malwarebytes for another opinion where necessary.] Let us know what you decide. SUPERAntiSpyware.com | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware! SpywareBlaster® | Prevent spyware and malware. Free download. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Cannot Print MS Office Programs with UAC Turned On Using Ad-Aware and Spybot. May try Malwarebytes, Spyware Blaster, and SuperAntiSpyware. Also I did a full scan with the MS Malicious Software Removal Tool and it found nothing. So other than I have to look at a little red X in my system tray (because I turned off the UAC), I can print fine and have no malware on my PC. |
