    Data Execution Prevention

The Data Execution Prevention options are grayed out. I am the administrator and no matter what i try it will not let me click on a button. Is there a fix for this?

Can you post a screenshot? Search for snip in the start menu. Have you installed any new programs? Upload a screen of that too. Take a look at the diag suite in my sig if you need hardware help.

    Hello Cazador,

It sounds like DEP may have been disabled somehow. If you did not do so, then you should run a fill antivirus and anti-malware scan to check for a malware on your system to be safe.

    DEP - Enable or Disable

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

To that end, Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware.

It looks like is disabled as in the tutorial link you quoted. It will help show you how to enable DEP again.
