| Vista 32 | Prevent changing login screen Hello, not sure if this is the right section, but it does involve some security. This computer is a family computer, mine actually, but used by the family, and one of the members always takes off the option in screen savers to display login upon resume. is there any way to block this, besides creating a new user. from being changed? |

The user is not able to change this option which is located in power options unless he/she is an administrator. Simply make them a standard user. Hope this helps. |

| Vista 32 | Re: Prevent changing login screen I only want one account, not multiples. Is there a file somewhere that i can edit so that a person cannot change that settings unless he knows how to un-edit it back? There was something similar about settings a default screen saver and not having others change it, but it doesn't work for the option i want. |

Edit: Hold on, I've used a program called Ultimate Windows Tweaker. In this application which is free and really awesome by the way can restrict access to many features. One would be control panel. If the user accesses the power options through the control panel, this would stop it. Oh and why don't you just tell your family members not to change the setting *peace* |
