| Vista home premium 32bit | Re: How to Repair Windows Defender or Remove it jeffrynov, What do you think I am trying to do? I would be happy to know how to remove Windows Defender or disable what is left of it. For what I can see Windows Defender is not installed in the system but as I have writen (more than once)... At start-up I get a warning (icon at the lower-right corner) that complains about some programshaving been blocked. If I right click on that icon and try to show the programs I get the error with "...0x800106ba...". If I try to reinstall Windows Defender I get an error saying that Windows Defender is part of Windows Vista. Why does Microsoft avoid reinstalling Windows Defender if the system detects it is present??? Some other user might want to do it in order to fix a problem... Please help! |
