Vista - Kaplinsky anti-virus !

Has anyone ever heard of Kaplinsky anti-virus if so is it any good, someone told me that its the best about at the moment and does the same sort of job that ccleaner does ?

Yeah it is good, however it hogs resources which may mean your pc runs rediculously slow whilst its doing some of the checks. There's a few others out there, I would look at how often you are using the machine, its specs and what kind of tasks you are asking it to do.

It is adequate and does what it says on the tin. However, there are better and on the market. At the end of the day, it's your decision, but I have seen so many people, buy protection software because it is cheap and not because of what are its protection capabilities.

You get what you pay for. Choose wisely. Think of your computer as a car. Would you pay £2000 Gbp or £3000 dollars for a car and leave it open?

That's a fair comment, that's what I took the item to mean, but did not ask. Better to clarify.

yeah i thought the name was lost in transmission so - my comment refers to kaspersky. My advice - steer clear of Norton - gave me untold issues and clashes and general greif, I couldn't wait for the licence to expire.

I thought you are talking about Natasha Kaplinsky.



BTW, Kaspersky Anti Virus is very effective.
