I downloaded a file and opened a malware that took control of my computer. It is a Antivirus Vista system security that is prompting me to buy the fake sofware. I try to get online to find removal tools and it will block my attempts, I have tried to restore my computer, but this feature has been disabled also the option to add or delete programs has also vanished. It has embedded its self in my control panel and wont let me make changes. My Mcafee antivirus cant pick up the malware. How do I get rid of this thing????? PLEASE HELP!!!:(

If it is as far gone you say, could put the installer for Anti Malware Bytes (download from Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware : Malwarebytes ) on a USB flash drive from another computer and then try installing Anti Malware Bytes on your infected PC via USB. Hopefully this will be able to sort it out (that is if it lets you install Anti Malware Bytes).

If this doesn't work you'll probably have to format the drive and restore Windows and your files from a backup but hopefully it won't come to that.

I hope this works for you.

PS Niemiro seams to be having the same sort of problem as well as one of my clients; isn't it odd that 3 people I have contact with caught a virus with very similar symptoms within the same day? Coincidence or what!
