Write permissions for WoW Launcher, logging in, etc

Ok, so I have been reading up on problems similar to mine, but either they don't go into enough depth for my problem or i'm missing something. So I've been trying to play the trial version of World of Warcraft. I've installed it and chosen a directory(the same directory I used to play full version of wow in) and right as it finishes installing, I came up with the error message "Launcher requires write permission to the C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft Trial\ directory to successfully patch the game. Please enable write access to the directory using an administrator". I've taked off UAC and pretty much changed every permission to allow every type of account to have full access. I've tried running the launcher and the game as administrator but to no avail, didn't work. I could get the game to run, but when i picked a realm it says connected, but won't go into the realm to make characters. This is similar to going on battle.net for warcraft 3 or diablo 2. I would always have to run as admin for it to write while on battle.net. but this won't work for WoW. What is really piddling me off is I am the only account on this computer and i am administrator, and SOMEHOW they are not letting me do what the hell i want!! Anyone who knows about security issues and write permissions please let me know
