    Windows Defender

    Windows Defender is turned off, using the link to turn it on does not work. The generated error code is 0x800106ba. I've not found a solution using Help and Support. I'd appeciate any helpful ideas.

    If you have Microsoft Security Essentials, Defender is included. It should be off.
