As my son kept on accessing the computer without authorization (F2 twice during the log in then he was able to enter straight into his account without having to give the password), last week I just went into the Security option offered in MS-DOS that requests to enter password before downloading Windows Vista and defined a password. He must have played around with it yesterday trying to break into the PC and today I am unable to access with the password I have set up.
Again it is the password you are asked for when you log in not when you have downloaded Vista and get into you own account.

Please Edit your Post and Delete your Product Key this is a Public forum meaning anyone can see it if you give out your Product Key some People may be able to use it
If you do not know how to Delete the Product Key from your Post then I will notify a Mod or Admin to do so for you
You gave me information concerning Vista, not the computer. I need the Service Tag Number which should be a 7-digit alpha-numeric code with the words Service Tag in front of it. It may also include another longer totally numeric code called Express Service Code - I do not need that. Send it to me by Private Message to be sure it stays off the forums.
As far as Parental Controls, they aren't available with Vista Business or Vista Enterprise. Even Family Safety Live which is free for all editions of Vista doesn't have full functionality in these versions (and doesn't allow time management). It cannot be purchased or downloaded - it simply isn't available in Vista Business.
