My PC caught a bad flue

Hello everyone, and help:
My messagery hotmail.com has been attacked by a Virus last months.
I have Microsoft Security Essentiels and run the last update, no way.
The virus is still they as followed: I received every day at least 10-20
messages named "non-delivery" with an attached message.
Besides, when I send messages all my people get this non-delivery message and are in risk to be infected if they open the attached message as I did, unfortunalely.

How can I get rid of this virus ? Anyone had it ?
Thanks a Lot.
Pascale

I have Microsoft Security Essentiels, do you think this is enough to protect my computer or would you recommend another one and which one ? Thanks again.

Security Essentials is used by many here and is considered one of the best. Malwarebytes is also used in conjuction with MSE, since it is considered one of the best for Malware. In addition, use the Windows Fire Wall.

Hi theoremes, someone on your list of contacts has a virus (if not you).
The virus/malware will look for contact names and send e-mails using your name. :(

I would advise you to create a new Hotmail account with a new password. Delete the old one.

Don't send any "fwd, fwd"... and don't open any messages from one of your contacts with that in the message! You're just asking for trouble doing that.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop
http://majorgeeks.com/download5756.html
* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. Copy and Paste that log into your next reply.
