Solved New Java Update, But ERROR 1719 Stops me! What's the Solution.

Good Afternoon (UK) Time,

Java notification of old version on my computer Java (TM) 6 Update 7, remove to ensure security.

New update awaits ,but cannot uninstall Error 1719 Windows installer not correctly installed?

I've been downloading all week, why now, what's the solution,what made it change?

Sorry, lots of questions.

Actions Taken so far:-
MS-DOS

msiexec/unreg - Enter
msiexec/regserver - Enter
Enter

Did not work.

System Restore to 7.00 am
This well before problem, I think?

After these operations other software programmes uninstalled.

But Java still will not uninstall.

Message: Small Window.

C:\Config.Msi\30beba.rbs3:3

Then an OK button

small window:- 1:1712

That's it so far.

It would appear other progrAMMES CAN BE UNINSTALLED BUT NOT JAVA.

Why did the Revo do it where the windows version failed?

Glad you are now sorted.

Revo is a little stronger than the "windows" built in software & uses it's own uninstall processes.

Revo is free to try (30 days) & CCleaner is free! They both do similar jobs but offerred you the one that I thought that would deal with your problem directly.

Me too, I've had CCleaner for ages but never thought about the uninstalling side of it.

Revo, I think Richc advised me to get during one of my, what seems, many threads.

There is a free version of Revo.
JavaRA is a good tool to update and remove old versions of Java.

Yeah Sorry about that, I got the program from Jacee and have used it on several computers now it works very well. I thought I had uploaded the whole program but just looked again and a file was left behind. Sorry good pick up Lottiemansion, rep to you.
