Is it possible for people to hack your computer?

Is it possible for people to actually break into someone's computer and control things on it? Like the mouse, keyboard etc.? I heard it's illegal, but I have people who hate me online who have stolen my passwords for different accounts for an online game before because I put something into my file, executed the script for that file then my enemy could remotely change my password. Is this possible with a computer?

Yes it is very possible. They can even control your computer without your knowledge. One type of hack a trojan is very easily acquired;

yaa offcourse its possible. By installing some kind of trojan on your computer. Usually bundled with some kind of legit software attackers will send you, and when this happens...your computer is at the softwares will. Trojans will often times open a port, and let a remote computer connect.
