security comparisons

Hello kind people!
I have been using Norton Security Suite which I get free thru Comcast and
i'm wondering how it compares to the free MSE security as far as system
resource utilization or which one would be better for this old gamer as my
new pc will be here soon and I don't want it bogged down with a resource hog.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

MSE uses very low resources. The important thing is that I have seen conflicts and problems with almost all other AVs, except MSE. I use MSE for real time protection and Malwarebytes, for weekly scans all are free. I never had a problem and never had a virus. The important variable with all AVs is that you use common sense.
In addition to the two above I use Secunia PSI, to know when any software, that I use, issues a security update.
