Solved Can't I just download MSE virus and spyware definitions?

Whenver I try to update the virus and spyware definitions for Microsoft Security Essentials, it gets stuck at a certain point and never loads. So can I not just download the definitions before scanning my computer?

When something like this happens to me I un install it and then reboot and then download file and install it again.

Nevermind, I got better internet now and currently scanning my computer with Essentials.
