BSOD when installing Windows vista

Hello, every time I try to install windows vista it gets through the first part but when I reboot it it pops up this error, I am using an hp pavilion 690-0073w and I have all the drivers I need, but for some reason vista won’t work

Is that the whole BSOD? That error is many times associated with a hardware problem such as RAM. When it goes through the POST do you just get 1 short beep?

Vista x64 is not a suitable OS for an Intel Core i5-9400F with Coffee Lake microarchitecture in any case. That’s a Windows 10 PC. If you want to install a legacy OS, then Windows 7 would be my suggestion.

There will probably be difficulties with an oem machine.
