Hi roniwu,

Yes, it works the same for both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

Hey Brink, just went through this with my laptop.. while I was doing it I noticed that the registry download to make it 0% is broken, I think you are missing the [ before ATTACH or something. anyways cheers again for all the help

Thank you for the heads up on the broken download link. It has been fixed. It was missing the [ bracket.

Hi,
Just to tell that the fact of modifying the qos will not allow you to surf faster, it is a legend to think so.
This qos regards only the way of running apps, and the 20% reserved are really reserved by Windows only in case of update or some other windows aplications run automatically.
When there are no Windows apps running on your back, 100%, of course, are dedicated to your apps.

at my computer Disable_Reserved.reg and all the tips whit .reg dont work automat .i need to do it manual and the valor was 50 % reserved i typed 0 but i have another one there : maxoutstandingsendings and the valor is 65535
i leave it like this??????

but work.
whitout shawn and his site the vista was the most stupid os in the world

Hi Asache,

Welcome to Vista Forums.

I cannot find anything on Google for maxoutstandingsendings, but it appears to be setting a limit on how much you can upload to 65535 KB (about 65 MB). I would leave this setting as is since I'm not 100% sure if this is the case.

Could be wrong but I don't think this download works correctly. Downloaded it twice and tried to install three times but under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows" the entry stays the same.

Sorry, my mistake, I didn't look down far enough in the left pane to see "Psched", my aplogies.

Hi Guys,
This stumped me! It was already there and Ive just performed a full recovery a few days ago! Unless this Broadband speed booster I use has done it, I have to give permission for it to write to the registry. It called "Fullspeed" by Versis.

It would not be unusual for a program like that to make adjustments for these type of settings.
