| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Previous Versions - Shadow Copy Angyecarm, If you are dual booting with XP, then yes this could be the cause. Everytime you start XP, the Vista System Restore points and shadow copies get wiped out. This tutorial below will show you how to stop this. System Restore Points - Stop XP Dual Boot Delete Afterwards, create a restore point in Vista to help speed up Vista having previous versions available. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Previous Versions - Shadow Copy I am running Win 7 RTM Professional, but everything looks the same. Everything on my system is set up as you suggest, but when I click on the Previous Versions tab, igt says to there are no previous versions available. I looked at my Windows backup - there are files for which the previous versions should be out there. I also looked at the System Volume folder, and it it populated by files that are timestamped as the same time as my backups were created. All services are set as they should be. Any ideas? |
