The user profile logon failure instructions are very good especially for an inexperienced user like me, however, when I get to Step 6 (two S-1-5 files) and I'm asked to rename the first file, I get an error message. I cannot rename. I'd rather not delete the user account and start over because I have some documents that I cannot replace. Any help is very much appreciated. Rosetta |

You would want to rename it to S-1-5-21-63386024-1011406979-3447237981-1000.bk (step 6B - OPTION ONE) first. If it will not let you rename it, then what does it do when you try to? |

Can you tell I'm frustrated? The error message I'm getting is "The registry editor cannot rename (said file) the specified key name already exists. Type another name and try again." So I tried to rename it something completely different and got the error message "Cannot rename. Error while renaming key." Rosetta |
