Re: Internet Explorer - Maximum Download Sessions

Can I just delete those two (16) entries from the registry?

Re: Internet Explorer - Maximum Download Sessions

Hdbg62,

Quote:
MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server REG_DWORD 0x0000000a (10)
MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server REG_DWORD 0x00000010 (16)
MaxConnectionsPerServer REG_DWORD 0x0000000a (10)
MaxConnectionsPerServer REG_DWORD 0x00000010 (16)
If you have all 4 of these in that one location, then yes delete the ones with (16). Check the names of the ones with (10) after deleting the (16) ones to make sure that there is not a space included at the end of the name. You can see if they do by right clicking on them and click Rename. One of these sets had to have had a space in the name included for you to have 2 of them with the same name.

Re: Internet Explorer - Maximum Download Sessions

Yep, they're all in the same location. I deleted the two with the (16) value, restarted and checked the name on the ones left with the (10) value, no extra space visible and the cursor is right at the end of "Server". All seems to be o.k. and in any case, for once I did not get too much in a hurry and backed up the registry should I need it. Thanks for your time, Brink.

Re: Internet Explorer - Maximum Download Sessions

Hello Shawn,
my question is about the following tweek;
"How to change the maximum Download Sessions in Internet Explorer for Vista"
Step #5. "In right pane, right click on a empty area and click on New and DWORD (32-bit) Value."

My OS is Vista x64 should I chose "(64-bit) Value" ?

Thanks for your Time and all of your hard work

Re: Internet Explorer - Maximum Download Sessions

Hi Mitche, and welcome to Vista Forums.

No, it will still be the DWORD (32-bit) Value option for the 64 bit Vista to.
