Leaked: screenshots of Morro, Microsoft's free antivirus

The first screenshots of Morro have leaked, showing an interface very similar to the one from Windows Defender.

Thank you Slimy for sharing the news about Morro with us. I'm looking forward to try and even use it instead of my present AV.

Thanks Slimy, i really liked OneCare..so much i thought it was well worth the price. I cancelled it when i heard that it was being phased out and have been using Avast ever since. Good on Microsoft for making this free.

Is this going to be for Windows 7 only or for Vista too?

It will be available as a standalone download for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Hmmmmm! Once again, we're supposed to hire the fox to guard the hen house.

I'll pass!

AVG 8.5 Pro with its increased coverage works just fine, thank you.

[Quote, from article I read] The real test will be detection rates, and since MSE isn't final, we won't know for a while how it will fare. [ end quote]

I look forward to viewing these results in the near future.
