| Vista Ultimate 64-bit, SP2 | Can you trust experts' opinions on Windows 7? Quote: As you've probably noticed, Microsoft releases Windows 7 this week - and the reviews are unanimous. Best Windows ever! they say. Better than Vista! they add. Before long it'll be on every PC on the planet! they predict. |

| Vista Home Premium 64 Bit | Re: Can you trust experts' opinions on Windows 7? That was a good article, JMH. I too believe after trying the RC of Se7en, that it is one of the best systems that Microsoft has released. Will I be jumping off the Vista wagon and onto Win 7? Nope. At least not in the foreseeable future, because Vista 64 has run stable and problem free for me. I suppose that alot of my late adoption policy is due to inertia, but I tend to stay with what works. I used DOS 5.x with the DOS Shell until Win98se came out and then went to XP Pro. For Vista, I did my research and consulted many expert opinions before handing over my cash. I consider it money well spent. I am excited for Microsoft and the people who will be buying Se7en. It is a fine OS that stands on the shoulders of Vista. What's not to like? |

| vista ultamate 64bit | Re: Can you trust experts' opinions on Windows 7? I don't care of any bad press given to 7and i don't care what the experts have to say, i have tested my self and im super happy with it, i only see good in 7 and many needed improvements implemented, i really don't see the point in waiting for service packs ether, although they do help to fix the holes. (nothing is perfect) i wont be jumping to 7 immediately but that's only caused by financial issues at present but as soon as i have the spare cash ill be there |
