I have a feeling Microsoft had to make a modified version for Australia. We don't give a **** about their clauses over here.

No seriously, EA was trying to do a very similar thing with ads and recording data in BF2142. They released a modified version in Australia with none of the spyware crap.
Australian law rocks.
