About 2 weeks ago there was a new version of windows live messenger available.....I was running I think 8.1 and the 8.5 was available....I tried to download it.It worked but since I've done it,I can't connect anymore on live messenger.....they give me this error code 80072efd... I checked on internet to find out what the code means and I had a list of things to do.....so I did them. now they were telling on internet that I had to reinstall WLM on my computer witch I tried and did not work......still the same error code when I try to connect myself.I sent an e-mail to the live support.....they sent me back a answer with things to try.....I did try them but now it there that I have the problem. wintrust.dll module has been found but the call to dll register service has failed with the error code 0x80070005. What do I do to fix that??????? and the next one is the initpki.dll module.....they say on my computer that it cannot be found. So what do I do????? Oh and by the way,I'm running vista home premium on a new hp laptop that I bought meself a few months ago So can anyone help me please????? |

| w | Re: windows live messenger error code 80072efd 1. Click start, then click 'RUN', type %windir%\system32\regsvr325\system32\msxml3.dll after you have typed in this command Click OK. 2. Click OK again. 3. Try to sign in to MSN Messenger again. this should resolve the issue.. |
