Webcam is not working for Windows live messanger

Hey everyone

I have a problem that needs fixing! MY webcam works with every other program besides windows live messenger. Like it works with skype and programs that need webcams, but never for messenger. I click the button to start a webcam conversation, and everything works fine untill it tries to connect. It always gets cancelled for some reason.:( PLEASE HELP!

What firewall, antivirus are you using. Current version of WLM?
We could also use the system specs (lower left corner) filled in so we know what hardware you have. 32bit or 64? clean install or upgrade?

The anti virus is AVG free, and the WLM is the 9 edition. Its a 32 bit spec and its a brand new computer (only a year old) direct from Dell
