vista service pack update
When I turned Vista on today it said there was an update. So here I am installing this update that seems like an hour, only to find it did not install and it reverting back the changes. Why didn't this install? Is there a program conflict somewhere? I never had a problem like this with XP. I have my firewall off (Comodo) and really don't have much programs installed since it's just my laptop.

Hi Debbie,
Did you already install a previous version of the SP1? If so, you will need to uninstall it first to be able to install the new version.

No I don't. I tried to install that one too last week and got the same results. It would get to the rebooting process and when it got done it said that it wasn't installed

Debbie,
I would just wait until the final release of the SP1 is released, sometime in the scheduled half of this year, since you are having problems with the RC versions.
