Problem with "Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB937287)"

Problem with "Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB937287)"

I don't understand why, but this particular update is being a bit cantankerous. I seem to have installed it seven times. Windows keeps saying "Download and install this new update," so I do it, shut down my computer, and restart, but it still wants me to update more. I didn't realize it was actually installing successfully until I checked the list of updates I installed, and KB937287 was on there seven times. Anyone have any ideas about this?

Hey Vash,

I would uninstall all seven of the previous installations and d/l KB937287 and manually (meaning don't use windows update) install it. Here is a link:

this is a known problem experienced by many, here is the fix Microsoft Download Center Search Results
