Location: The Lowcountry | SP1 & Restore Points Hi all, for what it's worth. I noticed after I got done Installing SP1 that it had deleted ALL my Restore Points. It had created one new Point for its self and left no others. So I had no Points to go to except the one SP1 created. I'm glad I was watching! So to all who read this, it would be a good idea to create some Restore Points before you need them and have NONE. Thanks Later Ted |

Location: The Lowcountry | Re: SP1 & Restore Points Hi all, I posted this earlier in the week. Now I see that I am not the only one SP1 did this to. Also, I did load SP1 @ WU.
I created a Restore Point then opened AusLogics Registry Defrag. (run as Admin in Admin acct.) Reg. Defrag did its thing as always, created its own Restore Point, Restart then I closed it. I then went to Create a Restore Point "after" as I always do. You guessed it! The only Restore Point I had was SP1 !!! Any ideas ??? I got the idea from this thread... I haven't done it yet. Make vista sp1 permanent and save disk space Do any of you have any ideas ??? Thank you all for any and all help !!! Later TedLast edited by Bare Foot Kid; 03-23-2008 at 12:59 PM. | ||||||||||||
