it may be because I got the one with all languages in it, but do they all require 9 gigs to install on the windows partition? and if they do, is there a work around? I only made my vista partition 25gigs.

Hi Paleghost,
If everything is running smooth with the SP1 and you do not plan on uninstalling it, then you can see how to remove the SP1 backup files in this tutorial to save a chunk of hard drive space. I saved 1.6 GB.

Just done the SP1 cleanup the actual Sp1 part was 3.49 gb, but found a lot more rubbish including previous windows system, all together regained 81 gb (yes Eighty one).
Vista really flies now.
