Can't install SP1 Error code 80004005

I've tried numerous times to install SP1 for Vista Business 64. It shows up in my windows update I click install and it gets to stage 3 of 3 100% and then claims it didn't install and reverts all changes. When I go back to the windows update after it doesn't install it claims that it is pending and there is a new update for me which is KB938371. I install that and then it switches to SP1 has failed but SP1 is available for install again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
